Ukrainian Soprano Iryna Kyshliaruk’s 24-25 season includes her role debut as the Sacerdotessa in Verdi’s “Aida” at the Opéra de Rouen, Iole in Handel’s ”Hercules” at the Grand Manège in Namur under the baton of David Stern, Daphne in “Appolo e Daphne” on tour with Opera Fuoco, and a recital with ensemble “Les Illuminations” at the Atelier lyrique de Tourcoing. 

During the 23-24 season, Iryna performed the Contessa in Mozart’s “Le nozze di Figaro”, Iole in Handel’s “Hercules” at the Opéra de Massy, and the soprano part in Mozart’s “Great Mass in C minor”. 

Iryna’s other recent engagements include a series of significant performances, including L’Ange in Massenet’s “La Vierge” at the Opéra de Saint-Étienne, Israelitish Woman in “Judas Maccabaeus” at the Bayreuth Baroque Festival, Diane in “Iphigénie en Tauride” at the Opéra de Rouen, and Florinda in Pallavicino’s “Le Amazzoni nell’isole Fortunate”, conducted by Christophe Rousset with Les Talens Lyriques in Potsdam and at the Beaune Festival.

Born in Ukraine, Iryna Kyshliaruk revealed her musical talent from an early age. After studying cello and composition at the Kyiv Academy of Arts, she turned to singing, guided by soprano Maria Stefiuk. Her passion then took her to the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse (CNSMD) in Paris, where she continued her studies with such distinguished masters as Elène Golgevit, Stephan Genz, Anne Le Bozec, Jeff Cohen and Kenneth Weiss. Her musical training continued in Leipzig, with KS Pr Regina Werner, where she discovered the German repertoire.

She made her stage debut as Amour in Gluck’s “Orfeo” at the Kyiv Opera Studio.  She then portrayed Cleopatra in “Giulio Cesare” as part of a collaboration between the CNSMDP and the Philharmonie de Paris.

In concert, she has performed the role of Eve in “Die Schöpfung” conducted by David Reiland at Notre-Dame de Paris, soprano solo in Fauré’s “Requiem” at the Opéra de Tours, sopano solo in Handel’s “Messiah”,Bachianas Brazilieras” with the ensemble “Les Illuminations” at the Festival Saint-Céré and participated in the creation of Bernard Cavanna’s melodies with the ensemble “Nomos” at the Festival de musique contemporaine d’Ajourd’hui à Demain. She has given numerous recitals at the Festival Chopin Nohan, Festival Piano Folies, La Folle Criée de Marseille, Festival “Les étoiles du clasique” and at the Avignon Opera. Her first CD, “Son”, dedicated to dreams and childhood, was released on the “Mirare” label.

Iryna Kyshliaruk has won several prizes, including the Concours de Chant de Mâcon and the Concours de Lied et Mélodie de Gordes. She has received support from several institutions and foundations, including Fondation de France, Fondation Meyer, Fondation Goélands, Société Générale, Fondation “L’or du Rhin”, Bourse Ute et Patrick Petit, Fonds Kriegelstein, Imogen Cooper Music Trust. She was also a finalist for the “Fabuleuse Signature” prize.
